back at the “big” painting
It is scaring me to death to paint Abhinavagupta. What if he doesn’t like himself the way I painted him? So I keep fussing around with the squares and ovals and lining everything up to square. You can see the process/progress on my flickr site when you look at the set of drawing/sketches.
I am at this painting now for quite some time but had to stop it at times because it is too big to travel with me or fit into places that I am staying. So this is a good opportunity to paint on it now that I have the space and I have made a promise to use it.
