Where the Ayurvedic medicine comes from

I went on my first outing since my mega cleanse. I had asked the doctor if we could see where the Ayurvedic medicine comes from (like many other Ayurvedic clinics they make their own herbal concoctions). Every Sunday they go and visit the farm, not far from the main house. One of two plots is eleven acres big, where they grow all the major herbs, fruits, bark and ingredients for the medicine and massages and washes and even the ginger tea mix, which I am now addicted to. So today we went with the family to see their farm where this Ayurvedic clinic is getting the ingredients from, fresh, organic and made from scratch.

The doctor is showing us many different herbs and trees and fruits and basically everything, he said, is used in Ayurveda. It’s all about the right amount at the right time and season for the right condition. It’s an amazingly fine-tuned health system.

It was so refreshing to be surrounded by so much nature and healing plants. Such a peaceful and powerful vibration.
