way behind…

…with everything it seems, especially writing in my blog, paintings seem to multiply without getting finished, to do’s are piling up, while life goes on and on…
It occurred to me that I need to slow down, and that perhaps this is the perfect time for it. Too much is going on yet at the same time there is a wonderful silence all around. It seems I am missing most of it by trying to “catch up” on things that need to be done yet are utterly unimportant really. This might be the perfect time to step back from the canvas (of life), look at it from the distance, take a walks, smell the roses…
