I love hiking! I just don’t like the part of getting up early, and here in LA you have to get up early as sitting in traffic would just defeat the purpose and you come back with lungs full of bad air again. So I drag myself out of bed and walk… it’s so rewarding. Afterwards… 🙂
So here we go… (Temescal Canyon) the first part is a bit steep…
but then its a beautiful view all around…
On this day there was a bit of rain coming in and we got sprinkled in the end, very refreshing.
I am not sure what the name of these flowers are…

I believe that flower is the Matilija Poppy, which is one of the most beautiful native plants around here.
Thanks Barbara, it is really big and pretty! I have since seen it even in some gardens.
