About Claudia Dose

I am an artist whose work lives at the intersection of creativity and spiritual practice. My paintings emerge from a contemplative, intuitive process and carry a mystical quality, inviting the viewer to slow down, turn inward, and discover their own spiritual connection in its many forms.
Painting, for me, is both inquiry and offering — a way of exploring the inner world while opening space for reflection, resonance, and connection.
Artistic Path & Education
My creative journey began early and led me to study Art and Design at the Universities of Applied Science in Hamburg and Hannover, Germany, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Design. Immersed in the Bauhaus tradition, I was deeply influenced by Paul Klee and his way of using art as a language to explore life’s principles and the landscapes of the inner world.
That influence continues to resonate in my work through an emphasis on color, rhythm, intuition, and the dialogue between the seen and unseen.

Artistic Practice
Intuitive painting lies at the heart of my practice. I allow images to unfold through listening, presence, and trust in the creative process, often resulting in work that feels both spontaneous and deeply layered. Alongside abstraction, I also work with portraiture and figurative elements, weaving the human form into my paintings as an anchor between inner experience and outer expression.
My intention is not to illustrate answers, but to create visual spaces that invite pause, curiosity, and remembrance.
