Claudia Dose, Bio . . .

Born in Bremen, Germany, she has been painting for as long as she remembers. Exploring the world equipped with a self bound sketchbook and a stump of pencil in her pocket.

Her passion for art brought her to study Art and Design at the Universities of Hamburg and Hannover, were she received a BA in Design and deepened her studies further in painting and drawing.
Influenced by painters like Klee and Matisse, she developed a love for vibrant colors, yet subtle structures and deep inner meaning. Her fascination for texture and depth comes from her experience and background in textile.

Being torn between the abstract and the realistic expression in her paintings, she finds in her artwork an opportunity to consolidate her inner and outer worlds, reflecting her spiritual search.
The journey has just begun.

Her work for a non-profit organization and her study of Philosophy has led her to the United States, where she lives since 2000. As a professional artist her paintings and collages reflect her spiritual insights and contemplations inspired by her soul's journey.

Her paintings are in private collections all over the world. She has finished numerous commissions for private and commercial customers.
